Details: Step into the world of viral comedy content with internationally touring comedian and creator Dan Pulzello, whose sketches and stand-up clips have racked up over 100 million views across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Dan has performed in 10+ countries, from New York City’s top clubs to stages across Europe and Australia, and built a global audience through sharp writing, savvy production, and relentless experimentation.In this 4-week intensive, Dan shares the full toolkit behind his digital success - from writing practices to production workflows, algorithm strategy to on-camera delivery. Whether you're a comic looking to grow your online following or a creator trying to break into comedy, this class will give you the systems and skills to get noticed. This course includes:
Social media strategy across platforms (what works, what doesn’t, and why)
Technical breakdowns of editing, lighting, framing, and sound
Writing practices for sketch and stand-up clips
Leveraging audience metrics to build an international comedy tour
Feedback on student-created content throughout the course
About Dan:
Dan Pulzello is a rising New York stand-up comic who recently appeared on Amazon Prime's "Game Breakers." He has performed across the United States and has also taken his act internationally to England, Ireland, Canada, The Netherlands, Germany, Spain, France, Denmark, and the Adelaide Fringe Festival. He performs regularly at New York Comedy Club, The Tiny Cupboard, Westside Comedy Club, The Grisly Pear, Eastville Comedy Club, Stone Street Comedy Club, and others.
His comedy series "EU VS USA" has found success online, with over 100 million views across Instagram and TikTok. In addition to his work as a performer, Dan has written comedy content for National Geographic, NASA, and IBM, along with other faceless corporations.

INDIVIDUALS WHO REGISTER UP MUST SUBMIT A TAPE OF PERFORMANCE PRIOR TO CLASS FOR APPROVAL. Tapes can be sent to [email protected]
Payment is required to complete the registration process; No Refunds, No Exchanges, No Cancellations (No semester roll-overs).
Reserve the right to remove anyone from a course and refund their money at any time for any reason
Please note end times are subject to change based on class size.
Graduation shows must have at least 20 tickets sold in order to move forward, FUNY Standup & West Side Comedy Club reserve the right to cancel the show up to four (4) hours prior to start time if there is not a large enough audience.
Students will receive a recording of their set from the graduation show for free if they bring at least four guests. Otherwise, a $25 fee will apply.
