As a standup comedian Shane has appeared on CONAN (twice), THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT, NBC’S LAST COMIC STANDING, HALF HOUR SPECIAL WITH COMEDY CENTRAL, and THIS WEEK FROM THE CELLAR on Comedy Central just to name a few. He released his debut album "Established 1981" with Comedy Central records to rave reviews in 2018. You can see him touring all around the world at comedy clubs, concert venues, and some of the most prestigious festivals. Shane has been heard on popular podcasts such as BERTCAST, COMEDY BANG BANG, ALL FANTASY EVERYTHING, GUYS WE FUCKED, SAVAGE LOVE PODCAST, DOUG LOVES MOVIES, RISK and a slew of more. His podcast NO ACCOUNTING FOR TASTE with Kyle Kinane is available via ALL THINGS COMEDY wherever you get your podcasts. Shane has been seen acting alongside household names for NBC’S RED NOSE DAY and on IFC’S COMEDY BANG BANG. In 2019 Shane was one of a handful of comedians invited to perform on Will Smith’s THIS JOKA. Shane has also hosted his own series for Comedy Central called SHANE TORRES CONQUERS YOUR FEARS and a show for Paramount Plus named HOW GOOD CAN IT GET WITH SHANE TORRES. Shane has also been seen as a panelist on multiple television shows across a variety of networks. Since then, he has made his network television debut on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and continues to work clubs and colleges across the country. He recorded his first comedy album, I am LeClerc, live at New York Comedy Club in the Spring and it is set to release this winter.Joe Praino is a comedian, actor and podcast host, who was honored to be part of the elite “New Faces” showcase at the Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival 2019. He has two successful podcasts: the baseball centric Dirty Slides (with Andy Lazarus) and Dirty Sports (with Andy Ruther), which is approaching it’s 1,000 th episode, and showcases his immense depth of sports knowledge. He has interviewed the likes of comedy writer/director David Zucker, NFL stars Shawn Merriman and Pat McAfee, celebrity personal trainer Duffy Gaver and NBA star Brian Scalabrine. Praino performs standup at several clubs across the country and in Canada, including Gotham Comedy Club, The Stand, The Cellar, The Laugh Factory, House of Comedy, The Improv, Flappers and the Westside Comedy Theater. A native New Yorker, Praino worked the club circuit and was a CBS Page and a Desk Assistant at the Evening News With Dan Rather before standup comedy eventually won out as his full-time pursuit. He earned regular spots at the Comic Strip Live and Boston Comedy Club and he hosted his own variety show, Miscellaneous, at Galapagos in Brooklyn. Praino has had several indie film roles and appearances on “The Curse of Von Dutch” (Hulu) “Now We’re Talking,” and several episodes of “ESPN Instant,” with some of his favorite analysts and commentators. A sports enthusiast, he’s had the distinct, mind-blowing honor of throwing out the first pitch at a Mets game and he’s taken up golf, which was once on his “things not to do list.” Praino lives in sunny CA with his surf board and foster dogs.

A prolific monologist with universal appeal, Jon focuses on the idiosyncrasies of city living. Shortly after moving to NYC from his native Boston, he was chosen as one of Comedy Central’s Fresh Faces of Comedy and named one of Back Stage Magazine’s 10 Standout Stand-ups. His appearance on Last Comic Standing 4 – where he was the New York City Capital One Audience Favorite – earned him wide recognition and a new legion of fans. His other TV appearances include Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, VH1, Celebrity Apprentice, and 3 Men and a Chick Flick on the WE Network where he served as a host. Interestingly, the credit people seem most impressed by was that he was handpicked to open for Jerry Seinfeld in 2009 at Gotham Comedy Club Jon has performed at multiple festivals including the 2007 HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and the 2010 Great American Comedy Festival at the Johnny Carson Theatre in Norfolk, Nebraska. Their dynamic presence has captivated audiences in over 40 countries, with sold-out shows at venues including Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and headlining numerous Just For Laughs Festivals. ALOK can currently be seen in Hannah Gadsby’s Gender Agenda comedy special on Netflix and will take center stage at the Netflix is a Joke Festival in May 2024. Their show has been described as "provocative and powerful" (CHORTLE) and a "jaw-dropping celestial event" (TO DO LIST LONDON). For their contributions to culture and entertainment, they have been honored with the ACLU of Southern California Bill of Rights Award, Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment Trailblazer Award, and were selected as the inaugural LGBTQ Scholar in Residence at the University of Pennsylvania. They are the subject of the docu-short “ALOK” executive produced by Jodie Foster and directed by Alex Hedison, which made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival in 2024. He was a finalist for the 2017 NY's Funniest Competition at Caroline's; a finalist in the 2017 NBC Standup Competition; 1st place winner of the 2016 Laughing Devil Cup Comedy Festival in New York; the 1st place winner of the 2015 Yonkers Comedy Festival as well as the 1st place winner of the 2015 Make Me Laugh Albany Comedy Festival. Sorry in advance.Sharief Johnson is a comedian, Actor, writer, and producer. Sharief was born in Bayonne, NJ. Majority of Sharief’s childhood took place in the state of Georgia and his teenage years took place in the state of New Jersey. Growing up in unfortunate circumstances such as not living with parents and becoming a teen parent, Sharief found happiness in creating laughter! No matter where he was, Sharief was always was looking to make people laugh! This mindset eventually brought him to a popular club in NYC shortly after high school, where he started his comedy career! Sharief Johnson has featured and headlines at major clubs and Colleges all over the country ! Johnson won a comedy competition in 2018 that was produced by Sirius Xm Radio and the Sway in the morning show on SHADE 45. This show brought comedians from all over the nation to compete and Jonson won the whole competition! During the competition the management at Carolines on broadway took notice and offered Johnson a break out artist headlining show at Caroline’s where he has become a house comedian for the Club. Johnson recently caught the attention of Netflix is a joke at Laughing skull comedy festival 2022, and was asked to fly to California to film a set for Sirius XM/ Netflix Is A Joke radio! Johnson made his acting Debut in 2021 landing a recurring role as “Damon” on executive producer Curtis Jackson “50 cent“ Hit show Power book 3 “Raising Kanan”! Johnson was originally asked to be on two episodes in season 1, however writers and producers took a liking to Sharief’s talent. So he was written into more episodes and asked to come back for season two and he is currently filming season 3. Johnson also recently landed a national commercial with Under Armor and the famous Curry family, in which he can be seen playing the role of Seth Curry’s trainer!

She also co-produces 'Borscht' a comedy show benefiting NYC based charities.Brian Scolaro is an American comedian and actor. He is most known for his half-hour special on Comedy Central and his roles on FOX's Stacked, TBS's Sullivan & Son and NBC's Three Sisters.Cole Cosby is a comedian from Philadelphia (raised in South Jersey), now residing in New York. Cole’s interest in stand up comedy began in middle school from watching the performances of legends such as Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart and the sitcoms of Jerry Seinfeld and Kevin James. Cole’s first time performing stand-up comedy came during his junior year of college at an open mic on Temple University’s campus. Since that day, and after graduation, Cole Cosby went on to rise in the Philadelphia comedy circuit, becoming a regular host (and feature act) at Helium and Punchline comedy clubs, and working with headliners such as Sam Jay, Josh Johnson, and Tony Rock. Cole Cosby has also opened on the road for comedy legends Sinbad, Caroline Rhea and Tammy Pescatelli. Since moving to New York City in 2023, Cole has passed at Stand Up NY, earned a residency at Broadway Comedy Club, and is on a mission to create his own Cosby legacy.

- Want to work on building your comedy toolbox? Are you looking for meaningful feedback on your material? Or are you interested in getting your start as a standup comic but unsure where to start? Join us for a Four-Week Standup Intensive with Clayton Fletcher! Our 4-week course reviews topics including writing skills & stage presence, joke structures, where to find material, and the basics of crafting a set. The course will conclude with a show at West Side Comedy Club, allowing students to perform their 5-minute set in front of a live audience. Please note: Final Performances are recorded and subject to be used on our social media platforms. Our instructors are all working comics themselves with credits to their name; they can speak directly to the industry as it is today. Clayton Fletcher is one of the Co-Founders of FUNY Standup, in additon to being a NY-based comic with a special, Middle Child Syndrome. Clayton is also the co-author of The ROI of LOL (p. A multidimensional performer Brian is both an accomplished stage actor, who has played Hamlet in New York, and a versatile voice over artist with a vast range of accents and character voices in his repertoire. Brian was recently seen on the big screen in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty with Ben Stiller & also performed in such films as Ice Age II with Ray Romano and Robots with Robin Williams & Halle Berry. She may be a patriot, but a promise is a promise.Dan Naturman began performing stand-up comedy while a student in law school. After graduation he decided to devote himself to stand-up full time. His comedy series, "EU VS USA," has found success online, with over 100 million views across Instagram and TikTok. The rising star from the Baltimore/D.C. stand-up scene has performed at clubs and colleges across the country, and in 2019, he won the Magooby’s New Comedian of the Year competition. His original videos have earned him a strong following on social media, and in 2021 he worked as a writer and performer for Comedy Central. His work has been featured on the CBS Comedy Showcase and the digital series AS SEEN ON ADULT SWIM.Described as dry, quirky and hilarious, Sarah Tollemache has been a professional comedian for over a decade. Starting in Houston, Texas, Sarah quickly made a name for herself when she was named ‘Best Local Comedian’ by the Houston Press and later was the winner of the prestigious Houston’s Funniest Contest. After being featured on consecutive seasons of NBC’s ‘Last Comic Standing’ Sarah took her talents to New York City. Since moving to New York, Sarah has been named one of the top 20 female comics to follow on twitter by the Huffington Post. In addition to performing stand-up comedy nightly in many of New York’s top clubs and alternative venues, Sarah can also be seen regularly performing at the Upright Citizen Brigade Theater where she is a writer and performing with her sketch group ‘Absolutely’.Paula J. Leon is a first generation Peruvian-Canadian NY based Comedian, Actor and Award Winning Filmmaker. She was a selected Participant at the PIT SOLOCOM Fest in 2021 and performs all over the city various nights a week. Her award winning film She Knows Her Place (available on youtube) was screened at the Angelika Film Center and is currently developing new projects.Jilberto is a first gen. Mexican American stand up comedian based in NYC. He co-produces two shows: Purple Park Comedy- showcasing upcoming POC/female comics and Mariposas Comedy - a curated all queer line up. Alongside co-producing, he also hosts his own podcast: I hope this ages well, which centers around the interesting lives of senior members around NYC. In 2022, Jilberto was featured on three showcases for the New York Comedy Festival.Cole Cosby is a comedian from Philadelphia (raised in South Jersey), now residing in New York. Cole’s interest in stand up comedy began in middle school from watching the performances of legends such as Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart and the sitcoms of Jerry Seinfeld and Kevin James. Cole’s first time performing stand-up comedy came during his junior year of college at an open mic on Temple University’s campus. Since that day, and after graduation, Cole Cosby went on to rise in the Philadelphia comedy circuit, becoming a regular host (and feature act) at Helium and Punchline comedy clubs, and working with headliners such as Sam Jay, Josh Johnson, and Tony Rock. Cole Cosby has also opened on the road for comedy legends Sinbad, Caroline Rhea and Tammy Pescatelli. Since moving to New York City in 2023, Cole has passed at Stand Up NY, earned a residency at Broadway Comedy Club, and is on a mission to create his own Cosby legacy.Ryan Beck is a comedian in New York City. He has participated in several comedy festivals, including the New York Comedy Festival, Brooklyn Comedy Festival and the Limestone Comedy Festival. Ryan has appeared on MTV’s Girl Code, Comedy Central, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. As a writer, he’s contributed to the Comedy Central Roasts of Bob Saget, Roseanne Barr and James Franco, and just completed work on his first novel.
